Not only is this thing beautifully lined with circuit boards to give it that green metallic texture but it’s also showcased with its own LED lighting inside! Nicely done. Check out more pics as well as the bench in the source link below. [Unplggd]
It looks to be standing about 20-some feet tall and is just gorgeous to boot! Nicely done! [LikeCOOL, Coupland]

The latest auction fete, held at Elton’s manor, included an Audi A1 “spin painted” by British contemporary artist Damien Hirst. The artist/creator behind this website does a bit of everything you see on the street post on the right. But what really shines is this website. Hover over different areas to trigger different animations. It’s a fun lil site, I like the art style too, kind of reminds me of those older Tolkien cartoons. Click [...]

Well, I didn’t know I was such a fan of skulls but this thing is crazy, i mean look at the…just look! $200 get you one if you are interested, follow the link below. [Kidrobot Black]
Whoever made this took a somewhat common piece (a skull with wings behind it) and gave it an original spin, make the wings out of guns and knives, haha ACTION MOVIE TO THE EXTREME! Here’s The Expendables trailer if you missed it.
Chris Hardwick (from Web Soup & Nerdist.com) recently featured Mike Shinoda (from Linkin Park). MS showed up with 2 (signed!) books of his Glorious Excess Dies art exhibit (i think it was ‘Dies’, i’ll have to listen to that part of the podcast again, lol) and one of them is going to be given away. [...]
This is one of the most creative websites I’ve ever seen. Just hovering over objects in the header, footer, and even on the sides displays an animation and some even have some audio sound bites. Make sure you listen to the squirrel on the left side, kinda made me laugh, lol. Nicely done Meomi! [meomi.com]

I first saw this on Mike Shinoda’s blog then followed the link to the artists website and these sculptures are amazing, TONS of detail and a kind of steam-punk meets the apocalyptic world from the movie 9 art style. Check out these sculptures Nov. 21 – Dec. 19th at Joshua Liner in NYC and also [...]
The car was actually done in sharpie markers on the paint and then finished with a clear coat for protection. It took about 2 weeks total. Prestige (Lamborghini Miami) definitely shocked a lot of people when this car was first seen in California during the Concorso Italiano/Pebble Beach week. It attracted attention good and unfortunately [...]

For some reason it has been a while since i did an Art of the Week, this one is awesome. I love it all, the night sky, the city sky line, the city lights, the roads, and the wide variety of colors depicted in this. *thumbs up* to the artist. The title and scene also [...]

I love this image, the lone child kneeling in front of a war memorial. I think its awesome how the soldiers, Text under them and the vivid colors of the flowers all seem to just really pop and are so vivid. Looking at this can really convey emotion (probably many types depends on the person). [...]

Nothing too crazy about this one, or perhaps it is totally crazy! Splattered paint in vivid colors, it is just really appealing to the eye. Awesome stuff.
